    SAVANNAH/HILTON HEAD (November 28, 2016) – WJCL ABC 22 is proud to announce a new holiday tradition – “Light the Way: Donations for the Children & Adult Victims of Domestic Violence”. The station is partnering in this effort with Tanger Outlets in Hilton Head & Savannah as well as the Tiffani Taylor Gallery and the Thibault Gallery. The partners are hoping to gather items for those people being served by Citizens Opposed to Domestic Abuse (CODA) in Beaufort, SC and Safe Shelter in Savannah, GA. The “Light the Way” campaign kicks off Thursday December 1st at the lighting of the holiday tree at Tanger 2 in Hilton Head and will run through Monday, December 12th. WJCL will broadcast the lighting of the tree at Tanger live during its 7:00 pm newscast on December 1st. WJCL will also solicit donations in all of its newscasts during the drive.
