A beach along with noice

it's good place too go along,because there's no other building and just few people on the beach,I love to listen to the sound of wave,it makes me stay there all afternoon.And there 's good view,the Pacific ocean in the front and mountains in the back,it feel relax and comfortable.In the night,there is good place to watch stars,because there's no light pollution,you can lay on the beach all night,and Sanxiantai is the most east in Taiwan,you can see the first sunrise there.

A must-see

It is one of the most pretty scenic spots in Taitung. It is super windy but worth spending some times here as well as try walking the simple trail on the other side of the bridge.

Lovely spot in Taiwan

Unexpectedly chanced upon this lovely spot in Taiwan when travelling in Yuli, our driver recommended this place which is just gorgeous to look at and walk across to the tiny island opposite. The wind was so strong we had to walk gingerly to avoid being blown into the sea. All in all a superb place to visit when you are around the An Tong area

SANXIANTAI DRAGON BRIDGE

Located on the east coast of Taiwan, this place is in a magnificent location. With rocky crops, pebble beaches, beautiful trails through the woods and a magnificent foot bridge stocked deep in legends and myths. We stopped here during a 5 day trip around the island but, as often, we did not have enough time to really explore the place. We did, however, sample its beauty and walked partially across the "dragon bridge".

Simply Beautiful

This place offer beautiful ocean view and scenic seaside rock outcrops. Walking across the semi-circular bridge to the island is an extra-ordinary experiences where you can feel the sea waves right under your feet. The view is beautiful and scenic. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit.

Simply majestic

From those photos I see on the internet, the bridge and scenery of Sanxiatai look ordinary. Glad that I went and see it for myself. The bridge and scenery is simply majestic. I felt a little scared when crossing midway through the bridge as I could see the thundering waves crashing below me. The sea was just right below me! It is a must see attraction in Taitung.

The Lighthouse at Sanxiantai!

This is probably one of the highlights of my trip. Had came here in June in the evening. Had thought it was beautiful.

This time round wanted to do something different and requested our guide to bring us to the lighthouse on one of the islands.

We are blessed with no rain but the sun was really intense. Trekking in the open needs to be properly hydrated to avoid heat stroke. After we went past the humped bridges and walking on paths built for easy walking, the last stretch is basically trekking on uneven ground along the coast. A rocky walk along the coast before we finally reach the base of the lighthouse.

The climb up has well built steps. Not easy for elderly folks. Tiring climb up. But the moment you reach the lighthouse, you are rewarded with beautiful ocean surrounding you. It was nice and idyllic to sit at the lighthouse, enjoying the view and blue ocean. Will take a few hours if would like to trek to the lighthouse. Satisfied with the climb and view!

Beautiful Taitung ocean view

Believe or not, as a Taiwanese, first time ever and finally visited this gorgeous ocean view. This is a must visit spot if you ever travel to Taitung and want to explore the natural beauty. I wish I have known and been here sooner. The ocean water right after the Typhone heavy rains is so clear. Not many tourists to make this visit even better. I surely will re is it many times in the future.

The end of the day is a good time to come

Like in fairyland

One of the highlight of my trip. We reached there close to 6pm. With the sun ray being more subdued at that timing, the whole area looked exceptionally beautiful and serene. On the one side is mountains with sea of clouds. On the other is the unique architecture with 8 humped bridges leading to an island with 3 humps as well as beautiful shorelines either laid with pebbles or with unique landforms. Had thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Guess going close to sunset did add to the mystic of the attraction.
