116618 or 116718, 116710 or 114060
Hi All-
Been considering a few new pieces. First, I'd like to get a solid gold piece. Current, I have the 16610, 116613 and 116660. I'm stuck on the GMTII and the SubC gold versions. It seems like currently the 116718 is more popular which actually draws me to the 116618. Any and all opinions on the benefits and drawback of each are recommended. For me, the two time zone feature is great, but in all reality I probably won't travel much with a solid gold piece so I'd mainly enjoy the aesthetic the 24 hand brings to the watch if I went that way. Also, been wanting an maxi SS piece (other than my DSSD). Once again on the fence between a 114060 and a 116710. Same comments as above so let me hear what you all have to think. I aprreciate the input, thanks! -T |

All great choices. It really just comes down to personal tastes doesn't it?
YG GMT with it's green hand adds a bit of highlight and goes well with YG colour. However the YG Sub is also amazing... Just go with what you love and not which is more popular! If you get the YG Sub you can then add the SS GMT C which again is great for travelling! Good luck... Here's my GMT... ![]() ![]() ![]()

Great input so far, thanks! Question, are the GMTII YG and the SubC YG exactly the same in size? The case thickness is what I'm really after.

I always have admired 116718 GMT, but the only thing stops me getting one is the gold is softer metal than SS, and if I scratch it I will be extremely upset.
But it is still on my list. So, go for it! Capt. Serdal

The 16618 is also a great alternative with the stunning blue dial you just can't get anymore on a ceramic bezel model.
![]() Also because it is not as chunky as the ceramic bezel models it wears more comfortably on ones wrist.

116718 wins out for the gold model for me. If going with an 18k Sub, I like the blue dial.
