Postal services - Apertures of private letter boxes and letter plates - Requirements and test methods
This European Standard specifies the requirements and the test methods of the apertures for the delivery of letter post items when fitted in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
It takes into account security, impregnability, safety and performance for the recipient, and ergonomics and efficiency for delivery personnel. It allows the daily delivery in good condition of a great majority of letter post items.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions et les méthodes d'essai correspondantes applicables aux fenêtres d'introduction pour la distribution d'articles postaux, lorsqu'elles sont installées conformément aux instructions du fabricant.
Il prend en compte la sécurité des biens, l'inaccessibilité, la sécurité des personnes et les performances pour le destinataire et l'ergonomie et les conditions de travail du personnel de distribution. Il permet la distribution journalière de la majorité des articles postaux, dans de bonnes conditions.
