Oh, my wallet. I鈥檝e enjoyed their model kits and have admired the Triple K products from a distance, particularly as my Transformer purchases have declined over the last few years. BUT, Thundercracker in all his forms is what keeps me connected, so this might have to happen.
PoweredConvoy
Probably.

Sdcc is coming soon
Scyla
I have a bad feeling that Skywarp will be a convention exclusive.

Thundercracker incoming?

This line sure looks impressive! Not too much of a fan though when it comes to 'chasing' exclusive items and bonus parts
For those of you who have ordered Tis / figures from D4toys before, I can see they do not offer Paypal. I guess international users are stuck with the 'Spire' option. Has anyone used this? Do you need to sign up to something to use it (like Paypal?)

My Snake Eyes likes to take itself apart if that counts for anything

First of all, this feels like a slap in the face XD. Ive had the bbts preorder for 2 years still not even a release date. Second, my experience with their idw prime is that its really really easy. I took mine apart to add some leds, the disassembly was cake. Not sure if its the same for hot rod but for prime no problems
optimusmegas
Paint first then assemble. No point risking breakage by taking it back apart.

Question about the furai models: how easy are they to take apart once they're fully built?
Just got my Rodimus reissue and want to get into building him, but I'm worried that I won't be able to take him apart for painting down the road. Should I hold off until I'm ready to paint?
Scyla
From what I could see at the show the figure looks similarly painted to the K^3 release.
Because it needs to convert the parts, like the shoulders, are thin and hollow so it will probably feel more flimsy to handle.
I also assume that the AMT Rodimus will have less or limited range of motion in the joints because of all the engineering needed to turn into a car.
Size wise they look like they are fairly similar. I didn鈥檛 have my K^3 Rodimus with me compare but the height of prototype looks to be in the same range from what I remembered.
K^3 Rodimus鈥榮 price was artificially inflated because they added that second suit of armor into the toy. The K^3 was $400.
Given that the AMT Rodimus is the same size, has the same amount of paint applications, the same mix of material and has the added engineering for the conversion feature but has less parts and less accessories I could see the AMT one costing the same as the K^3 one.
If the AMT one is not fully painted and or has a larger production run, I could see it costing less than the K^3 one.
I would guess it would be in the 楼45000 to 楼60000 range.

I wonder how takara rodimus scales woth the ft ver
Scyla
I want Takara to stay far away from all the Flame Toys designs. They are great because they don鈥檛 have the burden to convert into a different form.
I鈥榤 not happy seeing the AMT line using the Flame Toys design. I hope it will stay a single release.
For me it comes down to utilization time of a feature. For toys on display I can utilize paint, materials, sculpt, design, accessories and articulation 100% of the time.
Every time I look at my cabinets I can appreciate and enjoy them.
The conversion feature I can only enjoy them while handling it.
However, because I have limited free time I usually find myself fiddling with retail Transformers or 3rd Party Legends class figures because they are easy to handle and don鈥檛 need half an hour to convert them.
I understand the sentiment that one wants the figure to convert because it is an integral part of the toy line but I don鈥檛 have the resources anymore to handle all my converting figures on a regular basis.
poor man
We have no idea how the articulation will compare, but the sculpt looks pretty similar. Joints on the transforming version will probably be alot simpler to accommodate the transformation.
FightingRooster
Thanks for the answers, my friends. So does this new rodimus have more detail than kuro kara? If it has the same detail and articulation, I鈥檒l just get the transforming one

Alloy is the material, die-cast is the process of making the part. Both mean metal parts
JasonTFW2005
I'm always curious why Hasbro Pulse doesn't stock these but they do for ThreeZero.
Zoo
I have two of their idw model primes lol if that counts (and have been endlessly waiting for my po of rodimus and praying for a reissue of drift lol)
oh boy so 200+ then lol
daimchoc
Alloy – made of metal. Much like the FlameToys release, it'll be comprised of metal parts and plastic. Except it converts (Bot/Alt mode)
Sephiroth169
From what I understand, it is DieCast.
But would not be surprised, if there are
Differents between Alloy and DieCast,
like the ingredients.
Maybe someone can make that clear this for us.
