No. 5629 is doing revenue service such as pulling freights and passengers on the mainline in America, The 5629 did a great job for pulling trains on the mainline, In 1939, No 5629 is doing revenue service during WWII, After the WWII was ended in 1945, No 5629 is continuing the revenue service, in 1959, No. 5629 was retired from revenue service, The train was initially preserved.
Excursion Service[]
In 1961 No. 5629 was restored and operate good condition, The No. 5629 is doing excursion service such as pulling passenger trains, Jensen bought his beautiful locomotive called Grand Trunk Western No. 5629, In 1964, The engine was renamed to Baltimore & Ohio, In 1966, Jensen replaced the Original Tender because the train doesn't have enough coal and water capacity, The bigger tender from Ex-Soo Line 4-8-2 fitted on No. 5629 to have more Coal and Water capacity, The engine is pulling excursion trains in Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan, In 1967, The Number 5629 is pulling circus train to Milwaukee Wisconsin to have fun in the circus, In June 1968, The No. 5629 is pulling more circus train again, No. 5629 is pulling more excursion service that the train did a great job, In April 1969, The No. 5629 was retired from Excursion Service.
The End of 5629[]
Jensen slipped and fall down while helping friend to move the fridge to the 3rd floor apartment, Jensen was hospitalized after the accident, Jensen can't take it anymore because of No. 5629 The engine was abandoned after Jensen hurt, We have Metra, Metra was founded in 1984, Metra asked Jensen to move the locomotive, And the train was trying to make it into preservation in Illinois Railway Museum, But it was denied, The train was denied to make it into preservation, Metra called the scrapyard to dispose the No. 5629.
Scrapped[]
The Grand Trunk Western No. 5629 was sadly scrapped on July 14th, 1987, The train was dead, On July 17th, 1987, The train was completely scrapped, On July 20th, 1987, The No. 5629 was trucked away from the yard, The Metra Police kick the driver out of the Blue Island Yard, Om March 16th, 1991, Richard Jensen died from health failure after the fridge accident.
